Paul Wylleman 
Paul Wylleman received his doctorate in psychology from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 1996. He is currently an associate professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the fields of sport psychology, human resource management, and the psychology of leisure. He is the co-cordinator of the Department of Topsport and Study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Furthermore, he is co-cordinator of the Special Interest Group on Career Transitions, President of the Flemish Society of Sport Psychology (VVSP), member of the editorial board of “Psychology of Sport and Exercise” and of “The Sport Psychologist”, and reviewer to international journals in the field of sport psychology and sport management.
He is member of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology (AAASP), the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP), the European Association of Sport Management (EASM), and of the European College of Sport Sciences (ECSS). Beside his research, Paul Wylleman works as a sport psychological consultant and accredited sport psychologist for several organisations and different athletes.
