Nadine Debois is qualified in both Sport Psychology Sciences (PhD) and in Sport Teaching (Aggregation in sport and exercise) and is a former elite athlete (Finalist at the Olympic Games). She is currently Teaching Manager in charge of Licence and Master training courses in Sport Sciences as well as researcher in sport psychology. She works within the Department of Orientation, Education, Employment and Career Transition (DOFER) at the French National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP) in Paris, France. She has been president of the French Society of Sport Psychology (SFPS) from 2008 to 2011. She was also member of the FAST (Forum for Applied Sport Psychologists in Top-Sport) European group from 2004 to 2015.
Nadine works in research on dual career in elite sport. More specifically, she undertakes to identify how successful elite athletes reconcile with both educative/professional involvement, psychosocial life and sport achievement goals all along their sport career.
She also works as dual career support provider for elite athletes and provides seminars and lectures in sport psychology for elite athlete students as well as for elite coaches.
